I started to build luggage carrier 15 years ago

hot shapping aluminium rods,then testing them on 25000 km of travels around Europe…

They’ve written this about Matteo Poli, my travelling companion, and myself:

They travelled around the whole of Europe for years by bicycle: from Milan to Lapland then down to Stockholm; from Stockholm to Helsinki via  Vardo Vadso in Norway; a to Brittany and by ship to Ireland (the whole ring or almost) and then in Poland, Slovakia and the United Kingdom…

Capitalizing on the experience of past journeys and taking advantage of their passion and competence for mechanics and design, they started to make original accessories for their bikes in the garage…”  ( GQ Maggio 2007 )

Today, with the BAC (bike Alfonso Cantafora) brand, I am offering them again to a public of enthusiasts in a version redesigned for industral production; lightweight and minimalist like the artisan versions, made up o modular elements and adaptable to the geometries of many frames on the markets.
